Older photo from my archive. Here's an update received from Nico's family: Well, it's been one year since we took Nico home! I just have to tell you that we absolutely LOVE that dog!!! He brings so much joy to our lives. He has turned out to be a really great dog. He enjoys morning runs (sometimes hesitant to run in the rain), fetch (even bringing the ball/stick back and dropping it at our feet), belly rubs, chewing sticks, hiding toys around the house, and most of all the dog park (Nico is quite the swimmer!). He gets along with all kinds of dogs & his best little buddy is my sister's maltese. He even plays in the small dog area at the park sometimes because he is so gentle with the little ones! A lot of the husky owners I run into at the park will ask "how do you get him to come to you like that?" or "how do you get him to listen to you? he's so good." And I can't tell you how often I hear "what a beautiful dog!" I mean, people even stop their cars to look at him!!! I hope everyone is doing well at your house! Take care! ~L & G |
